Business Travel Insurance

Ambarella Corporation has purchased Business Travel Insurance through AIG for employees to provide insurance for unforeseen accidents while traveling for business.  

Business travel insurance includes a variety of benefits. Listed below are the key benefits:
 

• Accidental Death & Dismemberment: Provides a benefit if death or dismemberment happens as a result of an accident while traveling for business

• Out of Country Emergency Medical: Provides coverage if there is an injury or sickness while employees are outside of their own country and require treatment by a physician

• Emergency Medical Evacuation: Covers employees for injury or illness that warrants evacuation to another medical facility for the appropriate care needed or back to primary residence for ongoing treatment

• Out of Country Security and Natural Disaster Evacuation: Coverage for security and natural disaster evacuation, meaning in the event of a covered evacuation the assistance provider will transport a covered person to the nearest place of safety

• Personal Property: Reimbursement of personal property or business equipment that is lost, stolen or accidentally damaged

• Trip Cancellation: Provides a reimbursement for non-recoverable, non-refundable deposits and payments due to trip cancellation due to injury, sickness, death, or other unforeseen circumstances

• Personal Deviation: Coverage within the policies is extended if personal travel is added on to a business trip (limits on length of personal travel)

• Spouse and Dependents: Coverage is extended to an employee's spouse and dependents who accompany an employee on an eligible business trip

Each business traveler should carry a copy of the Travel Assistance ID card while traveling. If an emergency happens while traveling, employees should call AIG for assistance. AIG contact numbers can be found on the ID Card or below.
